I bought my first rod from you at the Greensboro boat show this year and after using it I can only say that whoever said you can't reinvent the wheel was completely wrong. You have reinvented the fishing rod. Your rod building artistry takes fishing rods to a whole new level. I have always believed that one cannot buy skill but since I have been using
your fishing rod I found out I was wrong. I was not fishing, really fishing, until I experienced how much better your fishing rod made me. I just received the new rod I ordered from you and it is beautiful. Exactly as I ordered it and I cannot wait to try it out. If you basshawks out there want to take your fishing experience to a higher plane, you must get your hands on Mike's perfect fishing rods. Do not delay, believe me, you do not know what you are missing. I have been tournament bass fishing for 20 years and I wonder how I ever had any success without using Thompson's Custom Rods. I feel sorry for the guys in my club this year because I and my Thompson's Custom Rods are going to spank them. Thank you so much for your dedication to the rod building craft and for your superb customer service. Thank you for making me a better fisherman.

           Just wanted to let you know again how much I appreciate the time and effort you and your staff took with me at the Raleigh Fishing Expo this past weekend. The drop-shot rod I purchased from you is unbeleivable, I had no idea that you or anyone else was making rods that were this light and sensitive, I already own several high dollar rods that just do not compare. This rod seriously makes every other rod I own feel like junk. I have a couple of sponsorship meetings over the next few weeks and as the sponsorship dollars come in you can expect several more orders from me, starting with another rod just like the one I purchased this past weekend to use for a shakey-head rig. I would like to meet with you and see what spinnerbait and crankbait models you offer and will then be ready to switch to your products for 100% of my arsenal.
 
           I have put my new rod in the hands of 20-30 people already and have several more guys that want to test drive it this weekend at Hyco. Everyones response has been very positive and my wife even wants one of her own. I picked up 7 or 8 of your business cards at the Expo and have already given them out (keeping one for myself of course). Would it be possible to get some more of your businees cards or any other promotional material you have to give to members of the clubs I am in.
